101 Puppy Kindergarten
This group class is designed for you, as a new puppy owner,
who would like your puppy to become obedient, well socialized
and respectful of other people and dogs. During class, you
will learn basic dog manners while off-leash. Manners

socialization with other dogs and people; proper way for
your dog to meet and greet company; establishing the role
of you
as the ‘alpha’ dog and much, much more. You will
also learn how to curtail problem behaviors such as chewing,
barking, house soiling and other problem behaviors. You will
train your puppy basic commands, such as “Sit”,
“Come” and a variety of other useful commands.
The knowledge you and your puppy will receive is beneficial
for a lifetime. The course is 5 weeks long, meeting once
a
week. Class size is limited to ensure that you and your dog
will receive individual attention. Requirements include a

you and your dog will race through an obstacle course while
being timed. You will train your dog action commands such
as Jump, Tunnel, A-Frame,
to name a few. Your dog will learn commands that will give
him/her direction such as Go Right, Go
Left
and Go On. Agility training is beneficial for
releasing energy, building self-esteem and a stronger relationship
between both you and your dog. Class size is limited to
ensure you and your dog will receive individual attention. Requirements include a copy of current
vaccinations (DHLPPC, Parvo and Bordatella) and a graduate
of course 120. Price is $108.33
for 8 week program. (includes tax!)
Agility Training is an on going sport. Like any other sport
it takes practice. We have developed a series of Agility
courses that you can participate in with your dog. Please
note you must pass one course to go onto the next.
201 Private In-Home Training
This course provides one-on-one training at your home. The
trainer trains the dog on all desired behaviors. After
your dog has an understanding of the behavior, the trainer
then trains you to maintain the behavior. Some behaviors
addressed include “Sit”, “Stay”, “Come”
and Boundaries. Benefits include personal attention, in your
home (which allows the trainer to evaluate your dog's living
quarters) and at your dog's pace. The course is 8 sessions,
meeting upon your request. There are no special requirements
for private in home training. $480 for 8 sessions.
220 Behavioral Assessment
This one-on-one meeting is designed to tackle any questions
you may have about your dog. Examples of past Behavioral
Assessments include puppy proofing a home, extinguishing
leash pulling, training “Come”, etc. This is
beneficial, because it pinpoints the behaviors you would
like to work on. Assessments are a one-time meeting (more
are available upon request). There are no special requirements
for a Behavioral Assessment. $65 per hour in town, $85 out
of town.
FINALS: Training is not 100% guaranteed;
your dog’s learning rate depends on the perseverance
and follow-up practice of the owner.
